I receive $241.00 from DCF and $166.00 from a short term disability inusrance had I through my job. I have not been working since March. I am bipolar and also have a host of physical problems so I don't forsee myself being able to go back to work soon. SSI denied me and now I have an advocacy group trying to help with the appeal that it will be months before we get an answer and it's very possible it will be denied because mental health cases are difficult to win. It's a matter of I don't see the problem (like on an x-ray) therefore it dubious that it exists.
My car died 3 years ago and I have not been able to purchase a new one. I am enrolled in the freecharitycars.com under fatprincess1. I hope the program comes through for me. I have been relying on my father and this is difficult as he is old and unspontaneous and not a terribly safe drive due to his age.
